What is a Local Pick?
A Local Pick is a curated collection of restaurants and food spots for a specific neighborhood, city, or destination. Each collection is assembled by hand from publicly available local recommendations.
How we build them
We research each area using publicly available sources: local food media, neighborhood guides, community recommendations, and regional food coverage. We do not fabricate ratings, reviews, or editorial inspections.
What we do not do
We do not accept paid placements. We do not rank by Yelp or Google ratings. We do not claim to have personally visited every restaurant. We do not guarantee quality.
How to use Local Picks
Browse two preview spots on the web, then open the full collection in the FareChance app to see every spot with maps and directions. Local Picks are a starting point, not a ranked authority.
Updates
Local Picks are updated periodically as new recommendations become available or as areas change. Collections may not reflect recent closures or openings.
