What FareChance is
FareChance is a restaurant discovery app that helps you decide where to eat. Local Picks is the web home for our curated collections: themed lists of restaurants and food spots for cities, neighborhoods, and destinations across the US.
How Local Picks are created
Every collection is assembled by hand from publicly available local recommendations: local food media, neighborhood guides, community favorites, and regional food coverage. We curate and organize what locals already recommend. We do not fabricate ratings, reviews, or inspections.
Our philosophy
No paid placements. Not sorted by star ratings. We would rather point you to a handful of places worth your time than rank everything by review count. Local Picks are a trustworthy starting point, not a ranked authority, and they are always free to browse.
